About Scenemock

Who is building it

Scenemock is a small, independent project. It is built by a one-person team who spends most of their time on web rendering: turning layout data into pixels that look right at 3× on a phone screen. That is the part of a chat mockup most tools skip.

Why it exists

Making a chat screenshot for a story, a meme or a design draft should be quick and should not require uploading private messages to someone else's server. So Scenemock draws everything in the browser: the text you type never leaves the tab, and the free download is a full PNG rather than a preview behind a signup wall.

The second reason is measurement. Every bubble, status bar and colour is published on the platform data page. A mockup is only useful if its numbers are checkable, and publishing them keeps us honest — including about the parts still waiting on device calibration.

How it is built

Static pages, generated at build time, plus a framework-free canvas renderer. The typeface is Inter, an open-licensed font, because shipping a proprietary system font would not be redistributable. No vendor logos, screenshots or official assets are used anywhere; the status bars and icons are drawn in-house.

Contact

Scenemock is currently in a closed build: the site is not deployed and the addresses above are the project's operating mailboxes. If you need a faster answer, include the page URL and a screenshot.
