Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated:
Draft copy. Provided so the site has no missing legal surface; it is being finalised before any paid plan opens.
What the tools are for
- Storyboards, memes and social posts that are clearly fictional in context.
- Design drafts and layout exploration for apps and messaging interfaces.
- Testing how your own product, site or support flow reacts to chat screenshots.
What is not allowed
- Deceiving anyone about who sent a message, or pretending a conversation happened.
- Fraud, scams, extortion or any attempt to obtain money or property by deception.
- Harassment, threats, or impersonating a person or organisation.
- Presenting an invented message as if it were a genuine statement, including to an employer, regulator or other third party.
- Intimate or sexual images of any person, existing or invented.
- Placing a named person, their likeness or handle into a scene that could harm them.
How we enforce it
Rendering happens in your browser, so we cannot inspect what you generate. Enforcement therefore applies to the service itself: we may remove templates or features, refuse paid access, and report credible threats or illegal material to the relevant authorities when we become aware of them.
Reporting
Report misuse of a Scenemock image at abuse@scenemock.com. Include the image and where you saw it; we will respond within five business days.
